Red Poppies - RenataK

Three red poppies stand on thin green stems against bare white paper, one fully open with a black centre, one half turned at the top and one still closed in a green bud. A few long leaves run out to the sides, and small drops of colour are flicked across the background.

Painted in watercolour on paper, the washes left to bleed and the white of the sheet kept as the ground. RenataK is Renáta Katona, a Hungarian artist who trained at an arts-focused secondary school and now works mainly in watercolour. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
