Station Wagon No.4 - Kareem Rizk

A vintage car advertisement — a gold station wagon parked in rust-coloured scrub — is cut into and half covered by a large pale blue-grey paper shape. Below it a cream slab carries a square of red paint gone chalky at the edges, and a band of magenta and red runs across the bottom of the sheet. Where the papers overlap, the car reappears in slivers.

Built from cut and torn paper, reproduced here at high resolution. Kareem Rizk is an Australian collage and mixed media artist living and working in Denmark, with a background in graphic design and an affinity for typography and re-purposed printed ephemera. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
