Mujer y muerte - carlos enrique gozalo ara

A woman in a tall grey mantilla looks straight out, holding an open fan across her chest and wearing a sleeve patterned in green lattice. A skull in a black hood stands at her shoulder, a winged figure sits in the upper left behind a red heart, and the whole scene is set inside a drawn stone arch.

Drawn in dense stippling and fine line, with the colour laid in thin and pattern worked through every surface. Carlos Enrique Gozalo Ara was born in Madrid in 1964 and has worked as a painter since 1987, exhibiting in Madrid, Barcelona and Marseille. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
