Punk concerts - Dikhotomy

A Belle Époque street corner, painted in the muted greys and blues of a winter afternoon: bare trees, a pale stone facade, top-hatted figures fading into the mist. In the centre an advertising column carries no theatre bills but a full-height stack of punk gig posters — Talking Heads, Blondie, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Black Flag, The Ramones, The Clash — in hot pink, acid yellow, black and white. A woman in a black hat and plum skirt has stopped to look; a bearded man in a top hat studies them from the other side.
