Ovidiu Kloșka is a contemporary Romanian artist whose practice explores the unstable territory between inner perception, memory, reality, and the imagination. His paintings emerge from a continuous dialogue between gesture and thought, where forms, fragments, colours, and atmospheric spaces gradually construct what he calls a “Mindscape” — a visual field in which psychological and physical realities become inseparable. Rather than illustrating a predetermined idea, Kloșka allows each work to develop through an intuitive process, searching for moments when the painting acquires its own necessity and internal logic. His imagery often balances ambiguity and recognition, creating spaces that feel simultaneously intimate, strange, familiar, and impossible to fully define. His work has received international recognition, including the SINGULART Prize, and his paintings are held in more than 1,000 private collections internationally. Through original paintings and fine-art prints, Kloșka invites viewers to enter these evolving visual worlds and discover their own meanings within them.
