Cristina Iacob is a visual artist and art conservator based in Suceava, Romania, whose creative practice develops at the intersection of painting, cultural heritage, and a deep sensitivity to the materiality and memory of artworks. Her work explores nature, femininity, spirituality, and the inner landscape through an expressive visual language shaped by color, texture, and symbolism. Her experience as an art conservator informs a thoughtful relationship with materials and the traces of time, while her connection to the traditions and cultural heritage of Bukovina gives her work a distinctive personal identity. With an artistic career spanning exhibitions in Romania and abroad since 2005, Cristina Iacob creates paintings that combine contemporary expressiveness with a profound interest in memory, emotion, and authenticity.
